What are our cities doing to stop the illegal dumping crime.
Neglected waste is trashing our cities and triggering illness in all creatures, both people and in nature. Unauthorized dump sites hold many objects, and when eroded and wrecked, through time, release contaminants into the local communities and surrounding area. These pollutants enter the rivers, streams, underground water, and even the ocean.
According to a Yale Environment 360, “a chemical called 6PPD, which occurs in tire dust, is exposed to ground-level ozone, it’s transformed into multiple other chemicals” and “Seventy-eight percent of ocean microplastics are synthetic tire rubber…”
Sadly, our drinking water is being contaminated and there needs to be an end to the illegal dumping crime in our cities. An Illegal Dumping Enforcement Program needs to be implemented and given dedication.
An Illegal Dumping Enforcement Program involves many departments in the city because it involves:

- Enforcement
