FlashCAM digital camera systems are activated by motion. Both systems are solar-powered; no hard-wiring is needed. FlashCAM systems function in daytime and/or nighttime. When motion is detected, a bright light flashes, and your recorded message booms out informing the intruder:
"Stop! It is illegal to vandalize this area. Your photo has just been taken and
we will use this photograph to prosecute you. Leave now!"
Imagine the surprise this message evokes in any intruder/vandal. The combination of the bright flash and the loud voice message typically deters the vandal. The result: the intruder leaves the scene and no damage is done. Meanwhile, the “event” has been recorded on digital photographs that can be used to identify vandals and vehicles, including license plate numbers.
