Stopping Vandalism at RV Storage Facility

Rancho Feliz Mobile Home Park in Rohnert Park, CA provides a lot for tenants to store RV’s, boats and extra cars. In the past, vehicles were continually vandalized so the lot was not used very much. The lot was repaved and three FlashCAM-880’s were installed on a center pole, with each camera covering about one third of the lot. Mike Noble, park manager, reports no vehicle vandalism has occurred since the systems were installed.

The cameras are ARMed all the time with a benign message that says, “Your photograph has been taken for security purposes.” On a typical weekend they get 100 – 200 pictures.
